What are the taxes?
8% Occupancy Tax and 5.5% Sales Tax (posted rate x 1.135).
What is the deposit policy?
For general reservations (lodging and golf), the deposit amount is based upon the first night's room rate plus tax for each room reserved, and the first greens fee plus tax for each person.
For golf-only reservations, the deposit amount is based upon the first greens fee plus tax per day per person (excluding Replay and Sandbox rounds).
For group reservations (16 or more), the deposit payment and due dates are detailed in the group contract. Contact your group coordinator for questions or concerns.
What is the cancellation/reduction policy?
For golf and lodging reservations, we require all cancellations be made a minimum of 30 days prior to arrival date. Any cancellations or reductions made inside 30 days will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
A 7-day cancellation period will be applied during the following time periods:
Between the start of the season and April 30th
Between October 7th and the end of the season
Any cancellations/reductions made inside 7 days during the time periods listed above will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
For group reservations, we require all room and golf cancellations be made a minimum of 90 days prior to the arrival date. Any cancellations or reductions made within 90 days will result in forfeiture of the full deposit. Please refer to your contract. If you have any questions or need to make any changes, please contact your group coordinator.
What are the additional guest occupancy fees?
All king-sized beds assume two guests per bed.
All queen-sized beds assume one guest per bed.
All four-bed cottages assume up to eight guests per cottage.
There is an added charge of $20 plus tax per additional occupant.
Sand Valley currently does not offer rollaway beds.
