SANDBOX WARMUP
(9:00 - 11:00 a.m.)
The 17-hole short course at Sand Valley provides an intimate connection to the sandy landscape. It plays through a restored sand prairie that sits within the same v-shaped sand ridge that frames Mammoth Dunes. With holes designed by Coore and Crenshaw, ranging from 40 to 140 yards, it features the most unique green complexes on the property, including a Biarritz, double plateau, lion’s mouth, and a redan. What better way to warm up for your round of 18?
BBQ or TACOS?
(11:00 - 11:30 a.m.)
Deciding where to eat can be just as straightforward or challenging as selecting which course to play. At Sand Valley, you have two fantastic choices for a quick pre-round meal. After completing the 17th hole at the Sandbox, you can head over to our latest dining offering, a pop-up BBQ spot, to savor familiar BBQ classics and cold drinks. Alternatively, you can make your way to Craig's Porch for $1 tacos while admiring the panoramic view. Whichever option you choose, you'll receive warm Wisconsin hospitality with an authentic smile.
CHOOSE 18
(11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
It's often debated which course at Sand Valley is the favorite, so we’ll leave it up to you to decide which one to play. With its massive fairways and accessible greens, Mammoth Dunes skews toward helping, whereas Sand Valley, the resort’s first 18, can be set up to provide a serious challenge. Regardless of which course you choose to play, both will take you on a journey around a majestic landscape, visually-unique hillsides of exposed sand, firm and fast fairways, and most importantly, provide thrill and enjoyment.
